Recent innovations in digital photography now make it possible to offer nearly instant and very affordable professional quality portraiture. With my Canon D60 digital camera system, we can shoot and review images immediately. You can also participate in re-touching and other manipulations to improve the quality of the final image.
Desktop printing has also made it possible to make test or even final prints while you wait. In approximately an hour, we can shoot, review, retouch, and make a final print. Also, digital images can now be printed by most photo processors (WallMart, Kodak, etc.) at the same price and quality as 35mm film reprints.
Portraiture sessions can be scheduled for either studio, location, or both. I have been photographing professionally on the Mendocino Coast for over 10 years, and always enjoy finding the perfect place to photograph my clients. I am often available at short notice, but please try to call a day or more in advance if possible. I still shoot a lot of film, and offer both 35mm and medium format film portraiture as well.
