Inns and
Architecture
Photographing
buildings and especially interiors is in some ways
the opposite of photographing landscapes, but there
are many similarities, and I enjoy both types of
work. I have view cameras and extensive lighting
equipment for creating the perfect "natural
looking" mood when shooting interiors.
Having
written several books on woodworking and building
subjects, I have probably done as much of this work
as my other love--nature. Besides shooting
architecture for magazines (Fine Home Building,
Fine Woodworking, Rodale's Practical Homeowner, and
others), I have photographed many Inns and resorts
for web pages, brochures, and press kits. I have
also photographed million dollar houses for
Soetheby's International Real Estate, and for
several local real estate companies.
